Maybe it's to announce a new press officer. The wording on the press release (according to Leeds Live) refers to "Hary Heatherington."

It’s likely to be a a really positive naming rights for the stadium which will bring money into the club but will be derided by a a few on here as a negative.

not sure why caddick would be at a naming rights press conference. he never normally gets involved in stuff like that.

this club is superbly run off the field. sadly the on the field side isnt

But I thought all the sponsors were running for the hills. . .

The club have flagged the new sponsorship deal (and I've no idea if that is what the announcement is) as being significant enough to flip the company from current slightly loss making (post Covid) into comfortably profitable again so I'm not surprised if Caddick would be there for that.

If it is naming rights, I can see why the club might be excited about the revenue stream, but in reality the fans probably won't care less. The only news really worth broadcasting at the moment is key signings, anything else will likely be seen as distraction.

Yes I think he played for Huddersfield and originally from Oldham.
Doro certainly ran the ball in hard and I would be happy if we could sign him.

It's only the mens first team. Women, Wheelchair, PDRL, Netball, etc, all seem to be thriving. It's almost like the men's team have taken a backseat at the club.

They'll be a decent amount at York to cheer the women in their GF on Sunday.
