It's every thread. No wonder all the great posters left this place.
^^^^ i browse this site and cant believe the same anti Leeds posts on here daily, Support the club, not many on this forum, and frankly WE should be banned, every post is a trolling post, coupled with the usual suspects arguing the black is white and derailing countless threads, one of the big bonuses Winning the treble in 15 was WE disappeared for six months

How is a Leeds support site anti Leeds? Is a message board not for discussing mixed opinions? Not everything is good what the club do, why is it such an issue to discuss it? Judging by this board we really must have the most gullible followers of any other club. No other board has such an issue in discussing their clubs issues.
Might I simply suggest if you have problems with people having a different opinion to yourself, then simply put them on ignore, and that way you don't see their posts.
I don't see the issue so much.Yes, the bickering at times tends to go on a little too long with certain posters, and they know who they are. But at least the site is not dead like others (Saints is a ghost town). At the end of the day, we are all here to talk RL and first and foremost Leeds RL.
I would suggest these labelled 'great posters' of years gone by have fallen out of love with the game in general or have better things to do with their time these days and aren't as deep into it as they were to bother as much as they 'can't stand the bickering'.
The bickering was always here anyway. I have only been posting since 2012, but used to be a lurker for a fair few years before that and the moaning, whinging and bickering back then was still prevalent. Not saying some good people hdon't bother anymore, but really it's Just another' ahhh, it was so much better back in the day' attitude if you ask me

You are totally correct, and all that has happened is some posters moaning are just replaced by others, or in some cases just under a different alias.
Although we never had a situation through all those years, and talking about the board before Southstander also here, where it was frowned upon to post something perceived negative.
People are allowed different opinions, otherwise it'd be a dull place.
Its the petty arguments, endless fogknitting, one upmanship and gigantic multi-quote threads that annoy me.
I actually like the posters with a negative attitude to the club, not because I agree with them, because I don't, but it provides a sense of balance and realism to the spin and propaganda coming out of the club
McDermott is going. I actually think he is more relaxed because of it, and seems to have let the shackles go. He apparently asked to finish the season, and that is what they agreed.

Nothing wrong with posting negative opinions or stories, as long as they're true. Let's be honest, there's plenty of them right now!
Posters making (always negative) stories up for their own self gratification is pretty sad though, as is spending more than 15 years using an online persona that wants Leeds to fail in every way possible and who'll argue the sky is green if anyone from the Leeds club claims it's blue.
I'm really going to try harder to ignore certain posters now, even i'm bored of it.

The great posters of yesteryear were just as capable of mischief-making as today's exponents - better in fact. Main difference was that they took themselves a little less seriously. In this regard WE's strictly old school. Rather his light-hearted drivel (and the occasional intelligent observation) than some of the insult-laden stuff that gets chucked about on an increasingly regular basis.
I look forward to the decade long stalker ignoring me from now on
Back on topic...
It's gone very quiet at HQ over Segeyaro since the CEO arrived home from his annual Oz jollies. Not a sniff of spin, news, opinion, gripes, moans, dummy spits or threats of retribution.
Hopefully, the silence signals a change of approach with the club finally moving on and working towards a Plan B replacement (signing). At least I hope that's what Plan B involves.

Spot on.
I know a lot of those who no longer post here, or post far less frequently. They've been growing tired with the game as a whole and what's being served up for several years. So, it's not just a Leeds thing, though for some former regulars on this forum, last season was clearly the final straw.
They follow Leeds Utd more closely instead, or an American Football team, or they simply just moved on with their lives.
I do think the forum is becoming quite intolerant though as a consequence of a small handful of people who haven't grasped what a discussion forum should be all about. Perhaps they need to find a church where they can all nod in agreement with one another whilst sharing communally uncritical adoration, clapping and devotion towards a deity.
We are even witnessing intolerance over rumour and speculation being posted (even on a dedicated rumour thread) without which there would be next to nothing to talk about.
