Agreed on both points.

All the stuff that was aimed at the club for resting on its laurels or being happy to coast and not wanting to aim high at signings should be put to bed with these signings when they come through. But, that 100% means that RS has no excuses.

Seriously though, Croft will be a fantastic statement signing showing real intent.
Just what we need.

But i still think it needs backing up with Momorovski and ideally Burgess (Sutton if not).
Then we are talking.

I'm not sure on McShane. He's not the player he was.
Is he coming to play, or to bring on JOC and CJ?
If he plays, one of them 2 does not get game time.

But there might be an element of bringing him in to bring CJ and the other 2 academy lads behind him on with their development.
It's such a pivotal position and Aussie coaches particularly value 9's highly.
I just worry that CJ is getting pushed out, which as I've said, I think would be a real shame cos he's a talent no doubt.
He's just had a gap in his development.

Cant argue with anything over the last few days:

Love the croft signing
Like the confirmation we're after a Quota centre, Happy with Momirovski if it turns out to be him
Like McShane for a season, even better if he moves onto the coaching staff after that
Love the financial boost the new sponsorship brings

Really encouraging week of developments, hopefully no last minute hiccups

Like a few have already said, i just cant believe it isnt already done with the way key figures seem giddy and openly talking about him...I might live to regret it, but iv convinced myself its just a case of timing the announcement right now

McShane for a year to help out and train up Cj and JoC isn't the end of the world. Just think we need to sort Croft,centre abd power prop first / as well as.
