Fans of Championship clubs keep telling us the disciplinary treats them more harshly than SL clubs.
Let's see if Sarsfield's attack to the head of a grounded player with the arm, subsequent head butt and then "attempted" punching is punished more severely than Peacock's toe to toe punching shall we?
Oh, and had Thaler spotted the original offence and blown his whistle, none of that would have kicked off. Still, too much to expect that arrogant show pony to do his job.

I think all the times JP gets smacked in the face and doesn't react should add up as credits that he can spend when some c**k stiff arms him and head butts him while he's lying on the ground. The fact that Leeds got the penalty and that both players had 10 minutes and both showed each other respect after the game finished should really be the end of it. I don't want to see punches thrown at every tackle but then neither will coaches - 12 men on the pitch is not ideal. tvoc is right sometimes about the sanitisation of the game going too far.
Agree about Thaler, far too busy looking to see if JP's prone body was obstructing defenders.
