Hetherington has a lot on his hands at the moment, jiggling about resources to get us back to a position of strength. You can't really expect him to just call quits on a transfer fee in a short period. It may well come to that in the end, but not sure how it is in everyones best interest to just do it now. Hardaker will continue to put in everything until something is resolved. But the club he has agreed with isnt' just interested, there is agreement, and there is still another three clubs waiting in the wings. What you will probably find in the end is that Leeds get a player with his Australian club contributing to salary, rather than paying a transfer fee. Which in the end may not be far off what Hetherington is looking for.
