At hooleys age hes not going to really increase his speed.

Another bonus yesterday was Austin's Cas getting pumped by Warrington. Come on Wakey, send them down. Maybe though concerning from the outside these defectors can galvanise the group that as RS says plays for the name on the front not the back.

I did have a bit of chuckle at the Cas result especially given Austin's latest "revelations". He'll be moaning about Cas before long.

An athlete, or anyone for that matter, can 100% increase speed in their mid twenties if they make it a focus to do so

Now Hooley may be doing all he can already and is just about at his bodys capacity, i dont know

If there is more he can do, then he should, there is a good player there, but to take the next step, he needs to improve athletically imo, be that size, power, stength, speed...Or some combination from them all

It’s worth noting that Hooley missed most of this preseason with an injury, and if there’s gonna be big changes in body type etc when a player turns professional preseason is generally when they do this.

I think Hooley could certainly put on some size by the looks of him. I don't think he'll ever be lightning quick, but he's no slouch either.

Plus been a full time player instead of part time should help, I imagine there’s more improvement in him. Good to see after many wrote him off after the Hull KR game

I'm really chuffed for him to be honest. Even if these few games end up being the highlights of his career - I think he'll now kick on myself - he can hold his head up and be proud of what he's done.

Come back well after that horror show game. He's worth keeping as back up i think,especiually if full time/pre season helps him progress

Sending Cas down on the last game of the season would bring a little bit of cheer to finish the year.
