Typical rubbish reporting from a useless reporter. Why do people take him seriously. If I ever see a report from LeedsLive on any site I delete without reading. I don’t know about anyone else but I hate this time of year as a large number of reports are the same as a few days earlier but a different headline. I now tend to only read from a genuine source such as a news paper or the BBC

I wouldn't take the BBC seriously with regards to Rugby League. On numerous occasions they've posted headlines, but the accompanying picture is of the wrong player.

From a Salford perspective it seems like the club are happy to sell Croft to Leeds. The Player and Gary H have to agree terms, I have a feeling this will fall flat due to Croft not getting what he wants in the deal or his agent pushing for more. Croft has the control.

Hi LR is it like you say that Salford are happy to sell Croft or are there financial requirements at the club which are dictating the possible transfer, if so what implications would it mean to Salford if Croft doesn't agree terms and would prefer to stay?

Hopefully we will find out by the end of this week either way.

Not sure Croft does have the control, he's not Ivan Cleary. If Salford can't really afford to honour the contract he signed, he can either try to force them and stay there, or move to a much bigger/higher profile club on similar terms. This is why 7 years deals are silly and we've never seen it before.

If he can't agree with Leeds, then no other club in SL would stomach the transfer fee IMO. No NRL club wants him at the moment, most have better options than him already.

Agents and players are usually trying to maximise every penny of their careers, and I can understand why, but the best thing genuinely for all parties here does look to me like Croft to Leeds.
