My point was more that a lot of teams often have what people are saying as 'passive defence' its a perfectly valid tactic when needed, the defensive line staying intact and people not rushing out is often needed and indeed a positive, that does need to mixed up when necessary though.
IMO it was totally overstated that we were always passive in our defensive line.
Watch any teams in SL (maybe bar saints) and in the NRL, they don't always come flying out of the line and often keep the defensive line solid.
Defense really wasn't our main issue at all last year (bar the Wigan and Cats game), it was stupid errors, stupid decision making and lack of creativity that were our main issues, I'm much more confident in the squad we are putting together to put those things right
