Salford always out this massively long deal together with the intention of getting a big payout like this if he left. IMO there was no way on Earth he would ever stay there 7 years on that kind of money come hell, fire, injury, form or whatever else.
Think he was a bit seduced by the total deal value and the security of it but it was never realistic.
Anyway he isn’t the only game in town at 6 but will be a blow if we don’t land him at this stage, we’ll see soon.
