Surprised Salford didn’t try get Johnson as part of the Ackers deal, maybe they have?

I hope we use Ackers as starting 9 and Johnson off the bench
Two natural 9's and will help Johnsons development.

O'Connor as utility back row.
Tbf he could do the Bentley job.
We should have let Bentley go and brought in another prop.

Should have let Donaldon go and only had one of Bentley or Goudemand and aimed for the type of prop we need,early.

I'd be surprised if he didn't move on permanently to another SL club. I had it on pretty good authority that would be the case when we were linked with Levi earlier on in the season. His ambition is to play SL regularly and Ackers arrival would be a real setback given that he hasn't managed to get in front of O'Connor. Would not be at all surprised to see him as London's first choice hooker next season. They are going to need a lot of players.

Johnson could be one that comes back to bite us if we let him go, however I do think we need some experience and quality at 9 so unfortunately Johnson may be the one to let go
