The week before the Challenge Cup Final in what will be a dead rubber for Saints? We will see, I think they will.

I wish everyone would read bramleyrhino's post two or three times just to get it through some thick skulls

Mr bramleyrhino speaks a lot of sense.

Ok, let's simplify this - What does removing Hetherington from his post achieve? Having an answer to that is the difference between a "well thought out view" and a "knee-jerk reaction".

As others have noted, he is more than likely retiring in the next couple of years and in the process of handing over elements of his role to Sinfield and, one presumes, Rob Oates.

This.

One game at a time. It's become painfully obvious that this season is unpredictable for most teams, and we can't afford to pick and choose which games to prioritise.

I'm sure there's a place in the backroom at Cas when you force him out.

One thing we must do is start better, we have to go to Huddersfield and get on top, we cannot keep gifting teams points in the first quarter

It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

Re: Who will we beat : Tue Jul 23, 2019 8:48 am
Completely agree Christopher, we must start in a way that gives us a good chance to finish well. Stop the individual errors, that will reduce the frustration and therefore reduce the number of penalties. It’s a vicious circle and we must break it.

We give away a high number of penalties early on, which costs us.

Also we need to go for the 2 points whenever we get the opportunity as we cannot get over the line. Had we done -v- Hull we would have had 4 extra points

It’s difficult to forecast what this present team will come up with. I fully expected us to be beaten at cas, but win against HKR.
The Warrington game may will be the decider, hopefully they will have secured a top 2 position. So may well have put the cue on the rack. Doomsday scenario would Warrington need to win for top 2 and us needing to win to stay up.
