We were also linked with Harvey Smith from Wakey a while back. I reckon if Johnson decides to pack his bags we might go for Smith: otherwise maybe not. I’m interested to know who else leaves and joins from here - I imagine we have our starting 17 squad already signed now.

Harvey Smith is the brother of Jack Smith, one of our new scholarship signings, Harvey was at HQ, with the rest of the family, for the scholarship launch night midweek.

I wondered how long it would be for you to come on and give us some insight on the newbies.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Harvey did end up at Leeds.

Despite the excellent signings we have made so far, it's concerning that Wigan, Saints, Cats and Wire all have far stronger packs than us for next year.
If this is the final squad, I think we move up the table and are challenging for 4th and 5th.
But I can't see us making top 3.

Any higher would need a big step up in form from oledszki and progression of Holroyd and Sangare. Hopefully not being picked for England is a motivation. On that actually is ackers injured or not picked?

Absolutely, he's going apparently though. Interesting to hear the commentary on Saturday continually talking about getting a drop goal at 12points, not a single mention of working a position to get a try and convert. It's still such a negative game at that level.

It was an awful watch. Chaotic kickball contest with little to no football even attempted. SA would have won by 20 on a dry track. In fairness I thought the 1/4 final between France and SA was a far better spectacle than the SL GF, which was dour. I'm sure Kev can write is own ticket as defensive coach in RU.

Not picked I believe. Gives him something to prove next year. Has Eseh to Saints actually been announced?
