Bizarre is right. That's Thompson, Dupree, Ellis, Byrne, Havard, Cooper, Mago, Hill, Chan and now Eseh. If Owen Farrell comes in as rumoured then there's no space for one of the props to transition to 13.

Surely all three of Hill, Chan and Eseh will go out on loan.

Even before the season starts I`m tipping them to win the treble with the team they have put together.
And that`s before Owen Farrell signs.
Maybe they could lend us Harvie Hill or Nsemba for the year.

It's a formidable number of props. Thing is, you can really only play five on any given week. Having such a concentration in one position must leave them light in others, so it's always a gamble. They'll rightfully start favourites though.

I might be wrong, but I don’t think there's a lot of depth at one, six or seven. Both French and Smith didn't miss a game this year. They'll be very lucky if that happens again.

Walters will be 2nd row next year interchanging with Nsemba.

Smithies has signed for Canberra.

Mago has just signed a new deal so unless something has changed he won't be going anywhere.

In terms of depth at halfback, Ryan Hampshire is staying on and Adam Keighran can play 6. Jack Farrimond is also the country's best halfback prospect but is likely a year away from being considered at first team.

In my opinion Leeds - with Miller, Myler, Croft, Frawley, and Sinfield - bat deeper at one, six and seven. No arguing with quality of Field, French and Smith though. Smith gets better every time I watch him.
