This thread seems to be looking at if it is right or wrong to use language people may find offensive and this is a good argument for the first ticking off. However, once the RFL had decided that this wasn't something they wanted in the game (which is understandable with the RESPECT campaign) there is no excuse and you should expect the punishment if you repeat the exercise so soon after your ban has finished.

The first time around was because the referee thought it was aimed at him, even though until that point nobody even knew he was homosexual.

Again, look above at the response and to what. Your just a big girls blouse desperate for attention.

As for the "case" there is no case. An allegation made, and something that was looked at. Nothing confirmed from the RFL.

There is seemingly no proof that he said anything derogatory despite the rfl going to extraordinary lengths to try nail him. That is why I have a bee in my bonnet about the whole episode. If they can't prove anything after this amount of time they should be offering a full & frank apology.
