We have just lost two home games most would have had down as wins. So its a dangerous game to pin point games as targets with just six to play.

4 points could be enough i think 6 to make certain so its getting to the crunch now where getting the right side of a close game is a must. The senior players have to stand up and be counted.

Senior Players? Are they not all senior players except for Newman? They all have a an awful lot of games under their belt.

We look the least equipped side to play well under real pressure. If we slip behind at this late stage of the season its hard to see us coming back.

Senior players in my eyes are players that have been around the block for a number of years and done it. So i wouldn't be bracketing the likes of Newman as you say or Smith, Walker. More like Merrin, ferres, Cuthbertson and Lui. If these guys don't put their hands up now and set the example we will be in serious trouble.
And before you say it, i know Ferres has been a dud for us but maybe he can be bothered to put himself in the shop window by putting in a few performances for the last half dozen games before he goes.

Re: Hetherington out : Tue Jul 23, 2019 5:37 pm
Come on guys get off GH back. He has very little to do with the team, he passed this over at the end of last season. Listen to him before games and after games and he openly admits the players are not now his responsibility. How can you sack GH or Caddick, between them they own the club, between them they hire and fire the coach. If you want them to retire they would simply pass their shareholding to their family and you will be dealing with GH daughter and Caddicks family. Look at the share holding , main shareholders are GH and Caddick , followed by R Oates and the FD who is also Caddicks FD. They may have the clout and the power but they delegate this power to others. The two shareholders are powerful guys in terms of ownership, you need to be a rich a man or woman to buy control, and there is no current employees at Rhinos to buy this club

I don't see Gary retiring for a long time yet. While he has his health he will remain at Leeds.

Leeds are stronger with Gary than without him.

I worry for Gary's mental health if he thinks thinks he bears no responsibility for our decline.

If he felt that he wouldnt have appointed and backed Sinfield. I'm sure hes well aware hes played a part in a poor season or 2 and I'm sure he will be aware he played a part in the dozen or so successful ones weve had too.
