The wing sections of the South Stand terrace had visibly plenty of spare room so it just looks like poor crowd management to me if there were problems in the central bit.

It was surprising Gary felt the entertainment at Rhinos is so good. It is generally the same old cheap stuff, with not a lot different.

Had pint prices gone up on Saturday?

I know we are sponsored by Tetley's but is there no way we can get other beer in the ground. It's 2023 and the options should not be carlsberg, tetley's or san miguel.

Beer went up 50 p a pint , same as test matches I think .
Stewards are generally poorly distributed, if there is hassle in Western terrace there is 2-3 stewards working really hard and a group of 10 or so at the complete opposite side of the ground.

I ventured other once this season between two games at a double-header. It was closed. Didn't bother again.

It isn't really much good to those of us on the South Stand, as it takes 10 minutes to get there, and another 10 to get back. Is it located there to circumnavigate an agreement with Carlsberg - ie, it's not classed as the Rugby Stadium?

I find the food offerings just as poor as the beer choice. In a city full of excellent breweries and street food companies, and the best they can come up with is Carlsberg and Costco burgers? Plenty of others would give a limb to offer decent products at Headingley.

Don't get me wrong I agree the offerings are poor, as you say there will be loads better options from the area and they should definitely be tapping into that market for food and beer offerings

I think that is probably the number one thing that let's the ground down. The food offerings are better at Castleford, which is just embarrassing.

I understand that they are limited on beer offerings due to the deal with Carlsberg, and that sponsorship deal has been in place for nearly 30 years now, in one form or another. But it is definitely time to look at alternatives or a split deal when it is up for renewal.

I'd definitely kick the food vendors into touch, though. The food is bad, it is overpriced, and there is no healthy options. They need to bring Wilson's pies back as well.

I can't remember the last time I ate at the stadium, but I have got quiet fond of the burgers at the Ugly Mugs Cafe behind the South Stand on St Michael's Lane. Recommended for pre-game scran.

I sit on the front row in the South Stand wing (towards away end) and it makes my blood boil at every home game as people stand on the no standing area and then start creeping up the steps to get a better view, thus blocking the view if those sitting down.
Some are the same people doing it every week.
We get the odd steward who do there job well, but most don't care, (getting paid minimum wage).
