When Gannon first debuted I wondered if he'd follow his father into the front row at some point in his career. At the moment he has the build of a young Adrian Morley, so I guess it could go either way.

Warren is on a 4 year deal till 2026 so he is obviously seen as one for the long term. He's a big lad 6-4 and needs a bit of time to grow into his frame. To be fair the longer term projects Warren Hudson and Ruan are all big guys

Warren is a back row isn't he? Unless smith does another Walters on him.

So with Squad numbers confirmed I reckon we'll try play 1-17 in position order majority of games baring injuries & suspension. And I think we have a very strong squad on paper this year lost of talent and class in there just need them to show it more often than not. From what I've been told our left edge will be Handley, Newman, Frawley & Martin and our right edge will be Fusitu'a, Momirovski, Bentley & Croft obviously plenty cam and probably will change before the start of the season I'd expect Mcdonnell to interchange with Bentley depending on availability and suspension again, i personally would start Mcdonnell and have Bentley on the bench, but I'm sure Rohan will use his players wisely and play to the teams strengths. Maybe we could do with another prop in the squad but like I've mentioned before I think we are very close to full cap and don't have that much room for movement this year so I'd expect another prop to be brought in for 2025.

FB- L.Miller, A.Edgell

W- D.Fusitu'a, A.Handley, D.Olpherts

C- H.Newman, P.Momirovski, L.Roberts, M.Simpson.

HLF- B.Croft, M.Frawley, J.Sinfield

PROP- M.Oledzki, T.Holroyd, S.Lisone, J.Sangare, M.Goudemond, K.Hudson, T.Nicholson-Watton

HOK- A.Ackers, J.O'Connor, C.Johnson

BR- J.Bentley, R.Martin, J.Mcdonnell, M.Gannon, L.Ruan, T.Warren

LF- C.Smith, J.Donaldson

You'd expect Handley is another option at full back and Johnson is another option in the halves. Donaldson & Ruan will be other options at prop as well.

Looking at that list if a few first choice players get injured we are not blessed with a lot of quality filling in which I suppose is the same for most teams.

I like Donaldson. As for the rest of your point - total Rhubarb. No change there.

Moylen looks like he might be signing for Leigh.
Pretty decent half back pairing there.
Had we not got Croft would we have been interested?

He's been a very good player and I'm sure he'll go great if he comes, but given he'll turn 33 in June I'm glad we went for Croft.

What's Rhubarb is your comparison with Johnson who is far superior in every facet of wing play period plus he's English.

I think the comparison is fair given Johnstone was considered a huge gamble himself last year given his injury record.

A fit Fus is an asset.
