McDermott is going. I actually think he is more relaxed because of it, and seems to have let the shackles go. He apparently asked to finish the season, and that is what they agreed.
I wouldn't have all 4 of McGuire, Burrow, Sutcliffe & Lilley in the 17 so one has to drop out of those. So the question shouldn't be about Walters getting in ahead of Lilley, it should be should one of the aforementioned 3 halves make way for Lilley.
How is Walters even in the squad, let alone getting picked every week. I don't get that one at all.

It's a sad state of affairs that someone like Walters, who would have struggled to get a place in our A Team 25 years ago gets a spot in our 17 right now.
