That's the problem here. He won't play regularly. So Liverpool will be very reluctant to loan him to us and the lad may also have reservations. Personally I think it's a touch short sited from Nketiah as I have a feeling he will play more plus he is involved in a promotion chasing pressure environment which will do him the world of good.

If Bamford is fit and performing well, why would he need to start ?

It`s also about freshening up the team and giving some variation.
WBA do it when bringing on Austin for instance.
The midfield is another example Klich looks knackered and would benefit from a rest but we don`t have the squad to rotate players.

We've got Forshaw and Shackleton, but they've been injured. They would start in most other teams at this level. We have a decent amount of depth in most positions, but we've had injuries. If we didn't have a good squad we wouldn't be where we are.
I think we need a back up striker and centre back, but we have to be realistic, no upper championship/prem level player is going to be happy about being on the bench most weeks, so our options will be limited

just not selected.
will forshaw play again this season?

I`m not so sure we do have a good squad.
We might when they are all fit but get 2 or 3 injuries and we flog the same players week in and week out even if they are off form.
Whilst Hernandez has the class he is injured far too often and we gave him a 3 year contract!
Shackleton should have replaced Klich after 60/70 minutes against Birmingham but we stuck with him.

Agree totally. Our squad is thin on quality in depth. We had very very little once we get 2 or 3 injured. Imagine how good we would be with a bit more quality.. that's what's frustrating most fans.

Passing and creativity sadly lacking. It’s OK pinging it around at the back but there’s been no threat from Leeds in the first half...
