I think we’ll take a month or two to hit our straps (wigan took longer last year) but Id like to think with the new additions we should have enough to not be languishing in the bottom half before we do.

It won’t be plain sailing it never is at Leeds, even when we were winning trophies

Back for round 3 according to YEP. Not good as pre season is vital but on flip side at least this didn;t happen at round 1... it most definitely makes us nervous as i think pretty much all of us think we're a good prop short.

Thats it,really. Missi g the hard work preseason then will take a few weeks at least to get match fit.

If the first few games don't go our way/ similar issues as last few years then RS could be in trouble

A broken thumb won't stop him running, so his fitness should be fine. He won't be able to do upper body weights or contact so could fall a bit behind there, but won't be starting from scratch. It's unfortunate that it's in a position where we are not blessed with great depth, but we will manage.

If there's a second injury in the props, that could be a real problem and would expose our lack of genuine options.

He'll be limited in contact and weights though Chris which isn't ideal. No major drama but a bit of a setback no less.

In fairness if Listen is the only injured player for round one that will be pretty good by our standards, were usually starting the season down on troops

The YEP interview with Gannon seems positive on his concussion. What stands out from his preseason comments is just how ridiculous the call was from RS to mess around with his position last preseason, it's probably stalled his development at his age, another experiment I'm glad to see the back of.
