Had you said we would make the play offs at the start of the season I would have thought it optimistic.
Personally I thought a top 8-10 finish first season and play offs/promotion the following year.
To think we are now discussing an automatic place and at worse play offs says a lot for how Farke has got the team playing in a relatively short period of time.
Farke to date has done an absolutely outstanding job. Paul Merson was sla&&ing him off on soccer Saturday at the start of the season saying he couldn't believe he'd got the Leeds job.
Southampton definitely a serious contender for promotion, they have recovered very well and gave us a bloody nose at their place. I wouldn't want to face them in the playoffs personally but equally they will say the same for us... either way lets hope we go up in top 2
I know it's only Rotherham Friday, but away, on Sky, and on the back of international break with some players not having a training session it could be a tricky game. They will raise their game for Leeds and it's should be viewed as an important win if we get the 3 points.
