Ferres was bad luck I agree.

Overall our rise and fall is a classic sports story - of how to build a champion side and how to completely fail to manage the transition to a new side.

Its actually not unique - what is unique is how long our success lasted and how far and fast we've fallen and for how long.

GH managed to persuade that squad to take less money than they would get elsewhere . Now they have started to sign so called Marquee players,.Another golden generation like that playing for less than they could get elsewhere wont come around again . I am happy for them that they got the rings and medals and trophies

If hull KR or London lose then that's two wins ahead, and four teams in a worse position.

Credit for surviving? Assuming we do its still 3 out of 4 years where the best we could do is stay in SL.

To be fair if we stay up credit needs to be given to the late flurry of signings, so Sinfield I guess.

I do hope that the club isn't blinded to how poor we are by a late run to survival.

Do people get credit for turning up for work and doing the bare minimum to keep a job?
