Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.

I would be pleased to see Eastwood overcome his visa problems since the club management had identified him as a player that would improve the squad and I would back their judgment against any of the posters on here.
Even G1.
My concern is about our discipline and inability to control the ball as well as we should do. The defence is overcoming this (just) currently but had the Wolves handled better themselves we could have & arguably should have been well beaten at the weekend.
It is not the most junior members of the squad, generally, who are giving away penalties, getting involved in brawls or dropping the ball in our 25, except Ryan Hall once or twice.
The rumours of Smith's departure to Wasps seem to be getting stronger & that would be a matter for concern if he goes. Though it would free up a little on the salary cap and allow BJB to come more into the picture, fitness permitting but would leave us short in the centres where he was supposed to be playing this season if squad numbers mean anything.

Agreed and agreed. Losing Smith would be a huge blow. If it does happen He'll go to union for a season or 2 then he'll return to RL and join Wigan.

If the Eastwood deal falls through, I'd rather Leeds strengthened (if they decide to replace) in the centres. Senior missing two from the first five is an unexpected early concern. I hope that ratio doesn't become the norm, leaving Leeds with Ablett as the most experienced centre on the books.

Watkins is very raw at present and his decision making in defence is understandably wayward at present. I expect him to make it in a big way if handled correctly but at 17 there's a danger he could be overplayed. Gibson appears a fill, good steady lad, no doubt but I don't see the potential that I see in Watkins.

Warrington bombed the game at the weekend. I wonder if those crowing about the win would be quite so gushing had Warrington turned their superiority into points. It'll happen on another day when Leeds aren't facing the bottom of the table side, with no points and no confidence to their name.

What situation is that, the same situation as every other club in that we can only fit so many players under the salary cap.

If Webb, Donald, Ablett, Senior, Hall, McGuire, Burrow, Leuluai, Diskin, Peacock, JJB, Ali and Sinfield all got injured, who would we have to cover them?

This is a massive risk for the club and is something that really should be looked at.
