It’s because what he does can look exciting and flashy, and sometimes it is, unfortunately his poor distribution and runs from DH often just stifle what we’re trying to do, he lays with passion and energy but I just think he’s not what we need as a team. I get the feeling smith likes the basics done correctly and he’s spot on with that imo

Just watched the highlights Bentleys looking at 2 games i reckon, wasnt malicious but copped him high

Yup. Good man to bring on in a dogfight. Give him any sort of leading role and that dogfight is guaranteed.

Agree with this. Bentley MOM for me with Zak not far behind. Impressed with how Zak was organising all night and being really vocal rallying the lads. He’s a bit off being 100% back to full fitness and he’ll only get better.

Thought Myler was all over place at times in the halves but don’t want to be harsh he’s not been there for a good while. Austin tried hard but took wrong options a few times but overall did ok. We’re a long way off in attack still though

Important win, think it’s pretty much been said. Shame Myler and Zak are both better at FB. A few positive signs thought Martin did well.
We are still very static on attack, wondering if Smith wants us playing very flat to the line.
Wakey made 15 errors which helped us massively.
Tough run coming up, interesting to see what we come up with.

Bentley 3-5 games swinging arm catches him flush in face. Our player doesn't even change direction when running it in. Should have been a red.
