Thought it was a harsh red. Expected a yellow.

I know a lot has been said about the passive approach, I don’t think we’ve been overly passive tonight. We have been utterly stupid and riddled with errors. I’m unsure how much of that can be laid at the feet of Smith.

I also thought yellow, he couldn’t exactly pull out of the tackle but he didn’t need to commit, just dumb.

I agree about the defence, we were containing them well until that shocking attempt on French.

So many errors from dumb passes and bad disapline

its smiths philosophy, as he said last week 'to go looking for opportunities rather than waiting for them'. its kamikaze as we're seeing every week and the pressure on our own line is just ridiculous. The stupid thing is we'd have enough in the pack and outside backs if we played a more composed style. Smith is pushing this style every week without a doubt.

only positive, Giants are sht too.

We don't know how to apply pressure to the opposition. For an experienced half Austin does some dumb stuff, apart from his customary penalties.

Even I am not impressed tonight.

We have no spine. O’Connor is undercooked at starting 9 but we have very little through the halves and Handley is a winger.

Errors and discipline again and most of it is in the backs, which is tiring out the pack making them less effective.

Not completely out of it yet but with Zane gone so early this will be tough.
