Can't be bothered to read through all the petty one-upmanship, but it's disturbing how many people are handbag grabbing in RL right now. I'm a Hull Fan, but I didn't break down in tears when your lot sang "Down with your trawlers". I've never cared when a player on the floor has met chants of "I hope he's ****ing dead". I laugh when you sing "Sing when you're fishing..."
I don't agree with racist chanting, but anything else is fair game to me. I know I'm in a minority in the modern World, but I wouldn't change any of the South Stands chants. I despise all the brass band nonsense much more than any Hull abuse I hear.
Regarding Zak, the biggest complainer from our board regularly uses much more homophobic terms in the pub than Zak has done on the field. It's ridiculous knee jerk reaction from everyone outside of the Leeds club. Even if Zak DID say something intentionally homophobic (which I don't believe he did), it's absolutely nothing compared to some on field actions of many players. It's rank hypocrisy across the board, mostly from people that have never defended LGBT rights in prior, much more serious situations.
Same with Todd Carney. So he vexed into his own gob?!?! Who did this hurt exactly? And yet there's all these moral crusaders jumping out of the woodwork condemning Catalans for signing who should/could be the best player in the comp next season.
