A sad day for the whole code

Add to that the unacceptable debacle in Doncaster and we don't look like so much of a "family" sport anymore.

It could have been a whole different story in the WCC if four fifths of Manly's try scoring effort had been refused entry into the UK.

According to yesterday's League Express, this episode has already cost the NRL a lot of money, as Stewart was the face of their advertising campaign for the new season.

Chosen for his family image, the whole camaign has now been shelved and a new one hastily shot in its place.
