Leeds Rhinos v Salford City Reds 3pm
Ref J Child TJ M Wilson TJ D Griffiths IG M Kidd IG C Neilson RR B Robinson MC P Crashley

I think this is the first SL game for James Child, after a number of years running the line.
Good luck to him, I hope he makes the grade and has a good, fair and consistent game.

How did he go do you know?
I believe that he works for Leeds City Council, well gets paid by them at least.
Maybe the next official to go full time?

Er, a Catalans fan I know wasn't over impressed. Said he was too picky and very whistle happy. Expect plenty of penalties.

Do you recall when Kirkpatrick 1st officiated at this level & the stick he took? But ultimately he became arguably our best referee. They must all start somewhere, the only thing I'd like to see is consistency.
Treat each side equally badly or well.

Exactly.

I have been impressed with Alibert reffing this seasons, but his interpretations as a video ref are nothing short of clueless.

The Hull try the other week, the Bulls first try Sunday, the Catalans try to take the lead, the Penalty try . My god.

The penalty try, if you watch the highlights. You hear Ganson ask Alibert to consider awarding the penalty try. I still can't see for the life of me why it was awarded.
