Every player has a value. I didn't think I'd see Fielden, leave Bradford or Gleeson Saints but it happened.

I wouldn't want either of them to leave but they have an ambitious chairman willing to back them and a quality coach (unlike ours) to attract the right players.

And look how those two careers have developed.

Haven't moved on, if anything they have gone backwards, and in the case of one of them, they have gone completley.

I said its bollox to someone who's not prone to rumours and not prone to betting but asked if I wanted a bet on it. I still can't see it happening although I could see TS wanting them and Wire approaching Leeds about the availability of the players. At the moment though it is still filed in the Bollox drawer.

Yep, along with the Vainikolo to Leeds, the Hape to Leeds and the Gleeson to Wigan ones. Sometimes I'm right sometimes I'm wrong.

If someone had said that Leeds would lose at home to Salford this season I would have filed that in the same drawer.

BTW, (and slightly off topic) now that Kirke looks like he's out for a good while I agree that a prop/second row is now a priority for the club.
