What is the chippy like on st michaels lane down from the Skyrack? Not been there for years, Believe it has changed hands. Bretts is nice but I need to take a log book loan out to pay. North Lane fisheries is the worst place I have ever eaten fish and chips from!

On the evidence of yesterday, avoid like the plague. I wondered why there wasn't the usual queue to the door after full-time but didn't realise it had changed hands til I was already through the door.

Tight on portion sizes, and think it's appropriate to serve a chip butty in a sesame seed pre-cut catering roll.
