with the big man back home at the moment, i'm sure he will start to feel like returning to the rhinos. i guess the only real problem will be him fitting within the cap.

haha, Yes, the Cas Born man, who played for wakey for longer than Leeds, who is loving his life in Aus where he is one of the clubs best players and loved by the fans, misses his 'home' of wet cold Leeds, who play in the inferior competition.

well as some posters know, i know ken ellis gareths dad and he said he'd love to come back to the rhinos when he is finished in oz, and hally also told me the same thing. when he was on england duty last year gareth told him he'd like to finish at leeds, but i doubt gary would have him back

Why? He leave on not so good terms? My god we should do everything possible to get him if he became available... Top top player

what i was told was when he was sorting a new contract out three aussie clubs had come in for him cronulla, manly and wests he told gary he wanted 15k a year more garys response was "i think you're being greedy" so gareth took up the option and joined wests and hasn't looked back.

When Ellis decides he has fullfilled all his ambitions in Rugby League, and he wants to play for fun, and not bothered about winning trophies, I don't blame him signing for Cas or Wakey

If he returns to the UK, and is still ambitious, he'll sign for a club that has a chance of winning something, and not just making up the numbers.
