Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.

I doubt anyone will suggest we can still attract top talent from the NRL in light of the strong dollar and larger cap over there.

So, will you be patient if we bring them through the Academy?

Or do you want to sign players from teams you consider better than us? Perhaps you'd like to sign some of the Giants players beaten at Widnes today, or some of the Warrington players that lost to Hull KR? Do you crave some of the high flying Catalan Dragons that lost to Salford? Or the Saints players who were on the end of a Wigan shollacking and drew today?

After all, if their fans are anything like you lot those teams will be getting broken up in June.

Obviously we should only sign players from teams who won this week.

I've said before that in the absence of any top NRL talent I'd sign Daryl Millard and Olivier Elima. If bridges are burnt between GH and McShane then I'd bid for Darryl Clark. I'd take Amor back from Wakefield. Smith, Kirke, Clarkson and maybe Hauraki could look for other clubs. They'd all of them find a gig at a Hull KR to Widnes level club (and, yes, I know we're technically in that bracket, before anyone says anything).

This is not "breaking up" the team, it's amending and improving it.

I'm personally of the view that its not the players or the coach individually but the combination of the two that's our main problem. I suspect that if we had a different attitude we may not need that many new players at all, and I also think that the responsibility for a performance like that against Wigan needs to be placed firmly at the door of the players.

I don't think BM would be alone in struggling to manage the Leeds squad at times, which is why I think if he is replaced it cannot be with some tyro, but a hard-headed experienced coach who can happily tell anybody within the squad to shape up or ship out.

I still wouldn't rule out entirely a miraculous end-of-season turnaround like last year, but I think a far more likely scenario is an exit from the Cup at the hands of Wigan, and a poor playoff showing (assuming we even get there). If that happens then some serious changes need to be made.

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

What fans want is a squad that can compete with the best not get 50 put passed it at home. Also a side that can compete at least with the Saints side that got beat up by Wigan not take two beatings like it has.

You think it will all come good at the business end of the season because of last year? you may well be proved correct on the other hand you may be proved wrong. If the lack of effort shown on Friday is continued they will struggle to make the play offs let alone win the GF.

I think if we were to sign a decent centre we'd be fine. move Hardaker to FB, with BJB and Hall on the wings + Watkins and AN Other.

Just my opinion but I think that's all we really need right now.

Our forwards are getting bashed every week they cannot control the ruck. They also don't offer any threat in attack, I would suggest the issue is more in the forwards than the backs.

Valid argument.

I'm not looking for point scoring, so would put my hands up to your 2nd paragraph. I just want the club and certain fans to face realism and do what they did 2002/2003. Clear the decks with some and give the youngsters a shot.

The pack is poor, our backrow is as average as any other side in league. The very first thing any half decent coach would do if brought in would be get Sinfield back to loose and lead the defensive line from the middle.

That's all I want to see happening at the moment.

G1-I'd love to see 2/3 Acadamy lads a regular go and a chance to cement their places in the team and YES i'd be paitent enough just like when DP had the clear out.
I just want to see the team compete or at least match the hunger and desire the opposition are showing which we haven't done for 120minutes v ST's and 80 against the Pies ,we were P!sh against dulls at odslum and our lack of discipline and structure was blatant at Ull.
Also i'd like some the U 20's rewarded more when the 1st team have been sh##.
In terms of new arrivals that's down to GH to get right but i'd like at least 1 offloading BR and an impact Prop under 30.
Do you think JP and Kylie still have enough to lead the pack for the thick end of an hour a game week in week out or that Brian Mc has the tactical nous or ruthless streak to turn it around???
Do you think its just a blip or that these performances don't deserve to be criticised???

Is Sinfield able to lead the defensive line without it effecting his ability to try and control the side offensively?
