Really vital if you want to see the stadium redevelopment go ahead to support the two housing proposals mentioned below online.. (the ones ending OT). There are hundreds of objections and barely any support. If doesn't go ahead then there's no cash to develop the stadia...
Leeds Rhinos are asking supporters to back plans for the re-development of their famous Headingley Carnegie Stadium home and lodge their support with Leeds City Council ahead of a crucial planning decision by authorities. The club issued plans for the re-development of both the rugby and cricket stadium back in February. The plans can only be delivered through the sale of two plots of land in Tingley and Weetwood, which will create over 200 new homes in the city with 100% of the net receipts from the sale of the site being invested in the improvements. Click here to read more. We need you to please send in your support for our planning application to Leeds City Council. The planners are currently considering the application so please do not delay and send in your support now. The easiest and quickest way to do this is via the Leeds City Council website by clicking here, or click below to send your support over email. The references for all three sites are as follows: 16/02582/FU, 16/02583/OT and 16/02584/OT. Many thanks for your cooperation. https://publicaccess.leeds.gov.uk/online-applications/ |
