Coming on very quickly now, three sections of seats have been installed and only one section of concrete cast and steelwork left. I reckon the whole stand seating will be complete for Watkins testimonial match.

Seems odd that it'll take between now and May to be ready... I get that there's internal fit out to complete but you'd think the seating would be ready to access in the same way the temp stand was...

I guess it would be too many people for all the seats to be accessed that way but I think you're right that some will be used. Didn't someone say on here that they have a North Stand season ticket?

Having been inside the North Stand yesterday I can see why it will take another 4 months to finish the interior. Yes they have 1000 seats in place but none of the internal facilities are anywhere near being finished

I have North Stand Tickets,a lot of the North Stand will be used for entertainment facilities and providing food etc. It has to be ready for the cricket so it looks like the furbishing of the suite will be top priority. The old legend suite has been transformed into the Kitchens I was advised, so I assume this will be in place and one or two of the old suites have been refurbished with new fixtures etc, so because these have been refurbished as opposed to being built from nothing these are ready for the first game. So people have been advised that they will be sat in the North Stand from the 1st game but where in the North Stand I have no idea. It is however good for those sat in the South stand or want to sit in the south stand as the more people they get in the North Stand it will free up a lot of south stand seats sooner rather than later.

It looks as though the western terrace wall will be knocked down for the new season. They have already knocked down the north west end of it due to the works on the north stand.

Also found out today that the club will apparently be installing electrical hoarding boards for around the pitch.

About time, the sponsorship opportunities that will create should bring in some more revenue, I must say I think the club has done a fantastic job of getting the stadium updated to a really high standard in a fairly short amount of time.

This is going to sound wet, but I hope they do something to protect player welfare with the wall replacement, whatever it is.

Seen quite a few players slide into that wall at full pelt over the years and makes me cringe every time. They are tough people but it's dangerous not to have some kind of padding / crash protection around the perimeter IMO.

According to the club the North Stand officially opens on May 16th. The Cas games have been branded The Clash and it's The Clash #2 which sees the stand open. So I'm confused about people having NS season tickets

Also, even though it officially opens for that fixture, seats aren't available to buy either in the NS or SS

The Carnegie has plenty, and at £36 advance (£30 in the end blocks) I can see plenty remaining available!

Advance terrace tickets have gone up 20% and are now £24

Not everybody who wants a Season Ticket has necessarily bought them by now, but the fears that the SS terrace might be entirely ST holders seems unwarranted as availability is very good
