The Council debate about the plans to build the homes was cancelled at the last minute today , with less than a hour to go ...put on hold by the stadium bosses , on bbc local news website

looks like the south stand will still be in use nest season. At least the rush to buy reduced capacity tickets will cease.

Am I right in thinking the funding from the sale of land was for the north stand build and that the south stand was self funded by the club?
