This comes as no surprise to me. Without the land assets selling, we haven't got the funds to complete the deal, we are very skint right now.

Yes and the profits they made are tied up in land assets, which they can't sell for development without planning permission.

Unsurprising.

No doubt the resident troll will be along shortly with his catchphrases.

Money is tight everywhere.

I wonder if they'll extend the renewal deadline. And what happens to the people who have paid more for seats in the other stands? The timing seems off considering the club have been bombarding us with texts about the renewal deadline. I didn't renew because my wife worked on Fridays and the people I go with got seats in the North. She's changed jobs but I couldn't get a seat with my lot. If they're moving into the South then I'll get one

This is no surprise to anyone with a modicum of intelligence.

The club has under invested in the team for years and finally it came home to roost.

So what do they do: scaremonger stories about capacity issues to get a commitment from the supporters as soon as they had a big enough commitment they duck out of a planning meeting and the re-development of the SS is off the agenda!!

Only last week in a sad attempt to sell tickets for a meaningless friendly he was saying it would be the last game in the "historic SS" when he knew the development would not be going ahead as planned - it would be laughable if it weren't so sad.

Some on here wonder why fans like me are cynical about GH and those that run the club - this smacks of desperate people promoted beyond the limits of their abilities.

This great club is descending into a laughing stock both on and off the field - supporters on here are now saying 6/7th finish is OK - seriously is that the limits of our expectations?

GH should be ashamed of the way the club has conducted itself and allowed a mess of this proportion to happen - it is embarrassing.
