Don't know if I'm completely sold on Prior as our prop, assuming Merrin does leave. I do wonder whether the club are seeing echoes of JP in him with the style of play. We need to look forward.

Whenever I've seen Prior play (admittedly not loads), I've always thought he's clearly a great athlete.

Looking at his stats/SOO appearance, he's probably had an above average NRL career, and would do very well over here, but I wouldn't offer someone like him marquee money. Ben Cross after all had played SOO!!

If we can replace Peteru with him, that's logical, but if he becomes out marquee over Merrin, I think we're worse off overall.

if you could get a player similar to Peacock(Prior will be a down grade of Peacock)that would not be a bad thing.Ive not seen much of him but I do know he plays big minutes and has some yardage in him.Prop is a position we need and I'm not sure where we will find one who is home based.

So Warrington are chasing Tetavano, how the hell have they got the cap space? Surely they are up their old tricks, I know Tasi, Westwood are off but they have incomings as well. Shouldn’t we be chasing signings like this and not a has been like Prior, who’s not very damaging and easily handled. Our recruitment is always baffling but with everybody else really strengthening, we will get left behind.

Would Prior be Marquee money? If so I agree.

Us getting Sam is now more of a possibility than ever. Souths are unsure of his injury, they have huge Salary cap issues, Sam is obviously weighing up his career and now his Father in Law is trying to do him!
