Just seen the League Express teaser and it’s pretty much confirming the Mclleland loan to KR. Why are we doing this, he is more than ready to step up? He will be pulled away from Leeds. We always seem to help KR out as well, their sqaud has got loads of ex Leeds players. There better be a vision in this!

It would be ridiculous. Perfect back up at least for a key position, where injuries happen. If Sutcliffe is our back up again, embarrassing. McLelland we should develop ourselves and give him a go.

Surely he will get more game time at KR?Myler still has a year left on his contract?Mclelland returns as first choice 7 for 2021?

This has got McGuire written all over bringing him in and no doubt he will be persuaded to leave Leeds because we are bringing crocked Gale in! Our recruitment and retention is baffling sometimes! Why pay a transfer fee to bring him back from union with massive prospects to send him to KR?

It’s looking like Gale or Myler will partner Lui next season.

KR have a good coaching set up and it’s the higher level than reserve team or championship. This could make sense where McLelland is the natural successor to Myler in the squad for 2021, and I’m guessing it shifts McLelland’s salary from our cap too?

The lad is a talent and the club will have his development at heart in any decisions.

Sorry but it makes no sense. Get them to take Myler, a Smith favourite, and get him off our wage bill. If they see no future in him, then better going that way. McLelland can develop with us if we did things right.

Maybe they don’t want Myler and would prefer McLelland? Maybe they couldn’t afford Myler’s wage or see better value in McLelland so they can invest elsewhere in the squad?

I’d prefer to see McLelland with us instead of Myler too but if we are signing Gale or someone of that ilk, then he’s too good to be playing third fiddle.

I have no issue with the McLelland move to Hull KR on loan, it’s a huge benefit for us while we run with Lui and Gale for 2020. Rumours in the papers also state that Myler is attracting interest from Ospreys RU and that Leeds have been trying to shift him since mid season.

Ospreys cant watch much Superleague...Myler has been dreadful this season, and that's being kind to him.

Nosey Parker in League Weekly reporting that Agar has gone to do early business and not personal affairs. Also reckons that he will be talking to Dugan! I wouldn’t touch Dugan with a barge pole. He wouldn’t have a place in the sqaud as well?
