Actually I think we need to stop giving jobs to the golden generation. The playing culture collapsed with both JJB and Ablett in the squad. Made no difference at all.

It's getting the right job for the right people. JJB does great work with media - his recent interview with Danny Mags was great and he's very popular. He lives and breathes the Rhinos and he's also battled through adversity and perhaps not being the most naturally gifted to still succeed.

We do have a new generation coming through who I think need these kind of role models around them.

If I was a 16 year old player coming through, I would listen my ears off to Burrow, Jonesy, Sinfield or Peacock. Even thought only Rob is coaching, those guys being around the club and accessible is huge IMO.

report in today's League Express Cam Smith given another year contract, that's fair enough but he needs to kick on a bit. Laughable that Ferres wants to stay, albeit on reduced terms, I would bloody hope so

a quality 9 and 7, a good prop and winger and we are moving. a good coach too

Toronto. Maybe Salford. And that is going on his past reputation really. To be honest he is Championship level player at best now. Surely he won't be retained by us.

I would be sick in my mouth if we gave Ferres any sort of deal. What sort of club are we going to be in the next 3-4 years if we resign poop like that.
