Whilst neither are bad players I don't believe we need either. Bill would halt Newman's progress and we are ok in the second row unless a real top player becomes available and I'm not sure greenwood ticks quite that box.

I'm more inclined for a prop and a utility back but that's just personal preference.

The Shannon Boyd link has been cropping up very often over the last few days! I thought he was still injured! But he is the type of big grunting forward we need!

Boyd would be a gamble, but he would definitely bring the intimidation factor which has been lacking in recent years.

Boyd is on $800k a year at Titans and Holbrook wants to keep him,even though he is still injured

Not convinced Boyd is worth marquee money for the amount of time he will be on the field.If he was to sign I would sign him for this season only.His he actually available?

He has started a 4 year contract.

Every player is available if you throw enough money at him and his club. It's just whether we want to do that.

We do need reinforcements but we don't need to make any desperation moves.
