Was advised last week, Merrin highly unlikely to be returning to UK, I think we have to accept that, was also told that Reece Martin was in the process of applying for a PNG passport. Unfortunately I am not that well informed as to what that would mean if he is successful, would it mean we have more opportunities with regards signing more Aussies. Can someone advise me if we would be better off or not if this is the case.

He would then drop into the NFT trained category and not overseas quota if I’m correct, but we would still need to move a player on E.G Peteru?

Can't see how any announcement involving Ferres is going to help sell season tickets, unless he's joining another club or retiring.
