Luke Gale rumour doing the rounds , just missed a whole season .Would we be prepared to take him after how Watkins came back ?

WOW....Josh Jones signs for Hull FC on a reported £120,000 a season deal

IMO that is a large chunk of salary cap space and i'm amazed if this is the going rate nowadays

Lost out on Josh Jones by the looks of it, probably end up with Westerman who Warrington and Toronto got shut of rather sharpish

Can't comment on what happened at Warrington or Toronto but I can tell you that Westerman has been excellent this season, arguably our player of the year so far. And Hull certainly don't want shut of him, it just seems like you have offered more. We have been splashing the cash by all accounts (Jones is the first of several to be announced), and as a result we can't afford to match what you are prepared to pay for Joe. I would be gutted to lose him.

Just my two penneth since a lot of you seem to be against his signing.

As a couple of other Hull fans have said, Westy has been great for us this season. Added another dimension to our attack, consistently strong carries, scored plenty of trys, and always working hard in defence. The only down side is that he seems to pick up a few knocks over the past year. I'd be disappointed to lose him though.

Exaggerated salary is that. He's not earning more than Shaul, Houghton etc. He hasn't had international honours either.
