Agree with Gotcha on this. Certainly for the last few weeks the pack have been doing their job.
Against Wigan they consistently got us up field and consistently held Wigan relatively well.
They did get quick play the balls and won plenty of collisions, it’s just our organisation, halves and hooker weren’t good enough to take advantage of them.

As I say, totally agree the last two weeks they have showed an improved level, but that's two weeks out of the season so far. Wigan and Wakefield are also not the stiffest opposition. If they have the same impact against saints tomorrow then they may have turned the corner.
Putting 2 and 2 together looks like Ashton Golding has officially been told he’s not wanted anymore by Leeds.
Tui’s with Tonga, Walkers in the squad, wether he is fully fit or not thats another question, and Goldings been left out. Again.
Not sure what the craic is with Golding but I honestly cant believe as bad as we have been this year he hasnt had a look in. I cant imagine hes a poor trainer or bad influence on anyone so it must purely be down to his ability as a player.
I know its a business but treating young players like this leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. Its only a couple of years ago he got the 1 shirt and a 4yr deal and the big fanfare with the pic of him on the gantry with his image on the pitch. Stinks. Alot.
It is strange that he's effectively been banished, particularly as you say considering the garbage elsewhere in the club. Equally though I never really thought he was a long term prospect at FB, and didn't get the fanfare. He's always seemed to have the right attitude though, so good luck to him, whatever he's done.
