Think that is fantasy. Maloney I can see, if as it seems we’ve cooled on Hastings due to not wanting to agree to an NRL release clause....but the other two...no way....for one we’d have to be releasing more than just Parcel from our quota ranks and if the rumoured Parcel/Lunt swap happens then we’d have 3 hookers in your scenario and young Johnson gets his path to the 1st team delayed yet more

To be honest, if we signed an organising half with a kicking game then you can release Myler to play the game he actually has the skills for which is running and supporting. In that scenario you would see a totally different player. Whether you want that player of course is a subtlety different question.

As for the parcell/Lunt/Luke triangle this starts to make a bit more sense. Dwyer signing one year means we definitely have a senior hooker next season. Swap parcell and Lunt but only give Lunt a contract till the end of this season. That dress an overseas spot for Luke or another quality overseas hooker. If it didn't come off you could run with Dwyer and Johnson or possibly give Lunt a year if he had earned it.

Of course this could be 2+2=5

Maloney has always chased the money and will be on a big whack at Penrith.Would be very surprised if he came.

Hodkinson is v slow and I had heard injuries done him in, so that sounds quite possible. To be fair He is tough and can move a team round the park and v good kicker.

I’d still go for Hastings regardless of release clause, we know a player can force his way out of a contract if he wants to

I think our current situation doesn’t help in attracting players over especially as we arnt really showing signs of getting out of this mess. Would love Luke and maloney, but not particularly confident we will get them

I don't think we've ever been in a stronger position to sign someonelike Luke. 2 (3?) Of his former team mates in our squad. Certainly makes it more attractive.

Luke also played @ HQ previously when we had a decent atmosphere. Could play a small part?

Maloney a possibility for 2020 but no chance for 2019. He's on the verge of an Origin place - lemme tell ya - this guy is class. He's exactly what we need for the next 1/2 years.

Id rather have Hastings, younger, settled in England for now, weakens a relegation rival. We need to do sumthing fast whoever it is.
