If you read Gary in the YEP he thinks Lui is the answer and Myler is Brill!

I read that but GH I think was defending his own signings it's now KS who's in charge of that department now.

And I’ll just move this here, where it’s supposed to be.

Myler was his, goes on about how highly BM rated him. Also still the man who pays the Bill's so still has a massive say in everything.

GH has done some wonderful things with Leeds, but that self-aggrandising, arrogant piece in the YEP was poor.

To argue you’re still beyond reproach after your recruitment decisions have left us in relegation battles three years from the last four is an insult.

I understand wanting to defend himself, and he's right in some regards - Sutcliffe in 2016 was the hope at 6 for example.

But some poor signings should never have been made, particularly the overseas duds. We should never have gone near Falloon and Galloway was the dictionary definition of a plodder, not an adequate replacement for Peacock or Leuluai. As for Tui...

If he was honest he'd also admit junior development has utterly failed as well.

He must have realised at some stage that the squad needed major surgery just like it did when he arrived in 97. Maybe he found it easier to see someone else's squad was rubbish than the one he put together?

GH does say the signings have been mixed and I definitely agree that Galloway was never going to replace Peacock. On the youth policy that's hard at times to achieve when you have ready made players I front of them. The ones who have come through have been in general a success.

You want another reserve halfback from the Tigers? That went so well last time...

I don’t think I said that? no, Just that it had been reported. Not to mention he actually is a half back for a start with a reputation a little better than Lolohea.
