Leeming would be a great signing IMO.

If the player we really want is under contract then we should pay a fee. I have no issue with that. It's up to the club to know what they can and can't afford.

As for Prior still hunting an NRL gig, can't blame him, SL is well below the level of the NRL and if he has a young family the thought of moving to the UK may not be that appealing. I just hope the club has a number of options in play at prop.

As Leeds is in dire need of a good hooker perhaps Sinfield and Martyn can persuade the PNG number 9 and/or the Number 14 to return with them to Leeds which would really liven up the squad .

Now that the internationals are over, there’s no reason why we can’t conclude our business.

Need to be very careful judging players on isolated games in their own country (especially given the humidity in PNG). A year ago Fev signed the Boas brothers based on some very handy displays in internationals. Ase was so poor he was back home in a few weeks and although Watson was better, he was gone by mid-season and spent the rest of 2019 playing for Doncaster in League 1, largely off the bench.

Maybe it's just me, but I think Kruise Leeming would be a great fit.

I'd pair him with Tyler Dupree in the front row - sounds pure Hollywood

The Prior deal is taking some time isnt it... all reports saying it was expected to be tied up last week. I wonder if the deal being held up until Martin gets his passport..

Until Martin gets his passport we cannot sign Prior so yes I would say this is the hold up.
