Poor ol' Newcastle didn't know what hit them, with that beast of a forward pack on a roll.
I'd love to see Holroyd, Trout & Martin etc really tested to see where they're at, send them on Australian tour similar to what St Helens do every 2nd year.

Agreed. The packs looked fantastic this season. Martins footwork for his try at Newcastle was very nice, really does remind me of simon houghton, Holroyd looks an absolute monster, huge, athletic and skillful, trout looks great in the second row, again, big, athletic and runs great lines. Im very impressed with mcconnell and dupree also. Credit to burrow aswel, he's idintified the strength of the team and is utilizeing it very well, which sounds simple but its amazing how many coaches struggle to do it, bodes well for his future in coaching, the difference in how well drilled and structured the 19's look this year compared to last under morley is night and day imo.

What fixtures have the england academy got lined up this season? Id imagine we'l have a few in that squad.

Is Tom Holroyd related to Graham Holroyd?

19's beat widnes 36 - 18 today, Hattrick for jack broadbent on return from injury, Corey Johnson x 2, chapman smith and hamill with the trys. We were getting beat 18 - 10 after 55 mins so quite a comeback. There were 9 first years in our 17.

Another test past by the young Rhinos.
Just add M.O.M for me was either Trout or Mconnell.
Great to see Broadbent back & Muizz who added good impact from the bench.

What are you making of mcconnell this season? He was a standout talent in the 16's but thought last year was a bit hit and miss for him, even taking into account it was his first at 19's level, but think he's starting to really find his form this season.

Agree with Marty plus he's really showing his early potential more consistently now & also has a great engine on him.

Loui has so much more in him than a biff and barge front rower, it has been frustrating at times to see his role being limited. Look forward to getting out to seeing him soon as ive not been able to get out this year.
