Appo Halme has also been sold to Barnsley.

Halme was quality when he played first team.
If Pontus leaves as well we are going to need two more centre halves to come in.
Roofe for £5 million is a steal if Rangers land him.
Again we are going to need two more forwards plus a midfielder.
It`s ok buying kids but in the Championship you needs experience in key positions.

Roofe is in the last year of his contract, so we have less bargaining power when it comes to negotiating a fee.
Apparently, the move is dependent on Rangers selling Morelos.

I'm not sure what is a good price any more.

But is Roofe that good? He asked a moderate number of goals last season in a team that created more chances than anyone the in the league. A great player would have bagged 25+ goals last season and got us promoted.

Roofes goals per minutes was similar to bamfords

Roofe has one of the best goals per minute ratios in the league, and would've bagged 20 to 30 goals easily had he not been injured. He also suits Bielsa's style. I think we should try to keep him if we can.

I'm sad to see Pontus go, but it seems he's been a marked man ever since Bielsa came in and his positioning is terrible at times, but he is still outstanding at this level, and we'll definitely miss his physicality. I just hope we get a decent replacement. Ben White is a good signing, but I'm not sure a sub 6ft centre half will be affective in the Championship
