How bizarre.. with a smaller wage bill and much bigger crowds.. something doesn't add up

Some bookies stopped taking bets on Clarke going to Spurs. Betfair tweeted a customer saying deal is pretty much done. Sky bet have it 7 to 1 on. Very sad. Thought we were past having to sell best young players. Lets just hope we get 20mil for him and him loaned back..

If you're not a top 6 prem club it's very hard to keep hold of your best players. If Clarke goes £20 mill, plus a decent sell on percentage and a loan back for the season may prove to be good business, as Clarke is still unproven.
