Where does this leave us in respect of overseas and NFT players?

What a great signing. I’ve just listened to his interview and he seems a great character. I’m not really bothered about the will he/ won’t he saga - their careers are short so he has to do what’s financially best for him. A 4 year deal to me is commitment! He looks great. I agree we need one more in the pack - i’d take Seb but a dream if Taupau......they do happen!! Well done Leeds for winning the pursuit

Still got a number of players available to leave too.

Mullally, Golding, Walters, Ormondroyd at least will leave the club and I think possible two more signings. One being ikahihifo and then hopefully a winger.

I think priority has to be still another couple of quality front rowers or at least one. We do probably need another winger long term but we could live with Handley and juniors filling that role for 2019 and maybe look to get a good one in for 2020.

Great news, I also think we still need one prop at least.

A move by Parcell seems to have dropped off everyone's radar recently. I doubt it'll happen but were it to do so there'd certainly be various possible permutations for the close season.

Hasn't Parcell's agent said that he wants to stay with us - maybe that's the reaction the club were looking for when saying they can look at other options.

Glad its come off we need players of this quality in SL. I think this last week of Taupau and his Mrs was a definite tactic to take the heat off of the Merrin situation and get people talking about something else. Played a blinder have the club, and lets be honest everyone saying he wont be committed or anything are talking nonsense. The main thing is regardless of everything Merrin has been quiet throughout the whole process and taken his time to decide and would not come if he wasn't going to give his all with the pressure of marquee money over him. I fully expect to see him named your captain too and really hope he plays 13

PS the tweet showing all the negatives was genius too especially finishing with the Gould tweet haha

"Matt Parcell’s agent says the Leeds Rhinos hooker is not leaving the club, report League Weekly.

Parcell, who joined the Rhinos ahead of the 2017 season as a replacement for Papua New Guinea star James Segeyaro, has been linked with a move away from Emerald Headingley in the off-season. Parcell still has one year left on his current deal with Leeds and his agent Clinton Schifcofske told League Weekly that Parcell is going nowhere ahead of 2019."
